Winter Tennis

Social tennis sessions continue throughout the winter, weather permitting, and we also take part in the Morecambe and Lancaster Winter Vets League. For more details see sections on social tennis and league tennis.

Indoor tennis

For a number of years we were able to offer indoor tennis at Giggleswick School during the autumn and spring terms.  Members who wished to do so went on a rota and arranged to make up a four with other members of the club. For some years we booked the sports hall for up to three evenings a week. However the numbers interested have declined, partly due to the increase in fees for the hall. The fee in autumn 2023 would have been £50 a session or £12.50 for each of the four.   Unfortunately there were not enough members of the club who wished to take advantage of this facility in autumn 2023 and so we had to cancel the booking.  However should more members be interested in the future we have the option of renewing this arrangement.
