Date set for annual Sheila Barraclough Tournament

The second Sheila Barraclough Annual Tournament will be held at the club on SUNDAY JULY 24 2022.

This American tournament, which provides a rare opportunity for all club members to join together both for a social occasion and to play tennis, is held in memory of Sheila who was a founding member of the club and played regularly until having to go into care shortly before her death in 2018. Once again the trophy for the leading male and female players will be presented by Sheila’s husband Bernard.

The event will be followed by a Jacob’s Join tea.

This occasion will also provide an opportunity to say farewell to former club treasurer and B team captain Pam Mueller who has recently moved from Austwick to Surrey but who will be returning that weekend.
